Ingredients:

  • flour - 2 1/2 cup
  • cream of tartar - 1 teaspoon
  • baking soda - 1 teaspoon
  • brown sugar - 3 tablespoon
  • salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • butter - 1/2 cup
  • milk - 1 cup

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400F.

Mix flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, sugar, and salt together. Slowly mix in the butter and when all of the butter is mixed in the mix in the milk.

Form into three round balls on floured board and then flatten. Partially cut through each of the three portions to make four pie-like portions.

Bake for 15 minutes. Cool for a few minutes then serve immediateley.
